The Interaction Dynamics lab is an exploratory research group interested in storytelling, video games, human robotics interaction, and human computer interaction situated in the University of California Santa Cruz, directed by Elin Carstensdottir.

We build research tools, develop theoretical frameworks relating to storytelling which include narratives in games, playful interactions, as well as virtual AI characters and social simulation in various forms.
